These fonts contain a limited character set and no OpenType features. They are free to use in client presentations, pitches and student projects. If you need a more complete testing, we also offer the Only-designers® licence from €5 for the full family, full character set and all font file formats.
Trial End User Licence Agreement v1.1 (February 2022)
General
The Trial End User Licence Agreement (“Agreement”) is a contract between Arillatype.Studio, SL, ID: ESB16924631, (henceforth “Arillatype”), and you, the Licensee (the individual, entity, or organisation subject to this Agreement) due to your access or use of the Fonts (digital font files software constituting the typeface) from Arillatype. By purchasing, downloading, installing, or otherwise handling the Fonts, you accept the terms of this Agreement. In accepting them, you acknowledge understanding and complying with its terms.
Trial licence
The Trial Fonts have a reduced character set, no Open-Type features and no technical support. The font software is available in OpenType Font format (.otf).
You are obtaining the rights, meaning a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual, and worldwide licence, to use the Trial Fonts as specified in this Agreement. You are not acquiring the copyright or intellectual property of the design or any other part of the Fonts. The copyright and intellectual property lie with its original designer.
If you are acting on behalf of an end user, you must ensure that the end user accepts this Agreement as it is.
All rights not expressly granted by this Agreement are reserved by Arillatype.
Permitted use
The Trial Fonts can be used for self-initiated, non-commercial work, preview and evaluation purposes, pitches and competitions, presentations within your company or client’s presentations to demonstrate the potential use of the Fonts. This includes student work for only educational nature.
General restrictions
You must not use the Trial Fonts for any commercial purpose. This includes, but is not limited to, any consumer or customer facing applications of the Trial Fonts in the usual course of your business, any commissions or any sales which include use of the Trial Fonts.
You must not modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, edit, reformat, alter, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Trial Fonts or the designs embodied therein. This includes you must not create derivative works of the Fonts or engage any third party to do so to customise their own designs or to create static documents or images.
Term
This contract shall automatically terminate upon failure by the Licensee (or any authorised person whom the Licensee has given permission to use the Trial Fonts) over the terms of this Agreement. The termination of the Agreement shall not preclude Arillatype from suing the Licensee for damages of any breach of the Agreement. Additionally, Arillatype reserves the right to charge you the cost of a licence covering your actual usage of the Trial Fonts, on a per-infringement basis.
Warranty
Arillatype makes no warranty, express or implied, that these Trial Fonts are suitable for any specific purpose. Arillatype shall in no event be liable to you or any other third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Trial Fonts, even if notified in advance.
You agree to indemnify and hold Arillatype harmless from and against any claims or damage which may result from your misuse of the Trial Fonts or breach of this Agreement.
Legal
The Licensee acknowledges that the typeface design and Trial Fonts software are protected by the copyright, design, and other intellectual property laws of Spain, by the copyright and design laws of other nations, and by international treaties.
This Agreement supersedes any prior discussions or negotiations, whether verbal or in writing. No amendment, modification or waiver will be valid or enforceable unless materialised in an agreement signed by Arillatype.
If any part of this Agreement is found unenforceable, it will not affect the validity of the rest of it, which shall remain valid and enforceable according to its terms. Arillatype’s failure or election not to enforce a provision of this Agreement is not a waiver of its right to do so later.
